Unfortunately, DSA HD does not belong to the selected group. The result feels like a joke trip to the late 90s, when everything appeared in 3D, but very little of it looked really good. Schicksalsklinge HD should be able to do just that, little money and big technology.
Shadowrun Returns, Wasteland 2 and other revivals of old series were apparently aware of this, so they relied on 2D, “2.5D” or varieties of them, in order not to have to deal with the pitfalls and requirements of a modern 3D engine. Seriously, more than 10 to 20 frames are not possible in the city on an upper mid-range computer.

The beauty that brings a computer to its knees that otherwise loosely shows Skyrim in 1080p in almost full glory. The only question is, why was it tried in the first place when it was certain it couldn’t end well? You can’t run a Skyrim with a sad corner of a meager slice of a fraction of its budget. Somewhere it is surely a question of the budget and somewhere out there are a few – two, it seems unconfirmed – broken programmers thinking “we did what we could, with the means we had”.
